AKID - Who are the 7 angels in the book of revelation?

JOEL - In the end times God designates seven angels to enforce the judgment on the wicked. We don't know exactly who they are but they must be high ranking beings, as suggested by the golden girdles they wear like that of the Son of Man (see Rev. 1:13, 15: 6). Because this all happens at the end of the world they are most likely beings that have already been resurrected and dwell with God.

According to the Doctrine and Covenants these "angels do not reside on a planet like this earth; But they reside in the presence of God, on a globe like a sea of glass and fire, where all things for their glory are manifest, past, present, and future, and are continually before the Lord. (D&C 130:6-7)

One of of four beasts hands each of the angels of doom a vial, or bowl, filled with God's wrath in the form of plagues that will spread over the earth (Rev. 15: 7).

At the same time John the Revelator sees God's glory and power fill the heavenly temple(Rev. 15: 8).

The seven angels pour out the following seven plagues:

1. A Noisome and Grievous Sore.
2. The Seas Become Blood and Their Life Dies.
3. All Water Turns to Blood and Is Diseased.
4. The Sun Scorches Men and the Earth.
5. Darkness, Pain, and Sores in the Kingdoms of the World.
6. False Miracles as the World Prepares for Armageddon.
7. War, Upheavals of Nature, and the Fall of Babylon. (Rev 16)

The Lord however promises the righteous: "Nevertheless, Zion shall escape if she observe to do all things whatsoever I have commanded her" (D&C 97:25).
