DOM - Matthew 22:32 says: "I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living." If God is not the God of the dead, why do living people perform ordinances in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit?

JOEL - To God there is no death, and there are no dead. To Him in His eternal perspective, we are always alive either in body and spirit or in spirit only. We always exist. Therefore, He is always our God whether we have a body or not and therefore all ordinances are done in His name whether we still have body or not.
