JOHN - How can Jesus and God the Father be omnipresent when they have tangible bodies and can only be in one place at a given time? And if He is omnipresent why He is not allowed in unholy temple (Alma 7:21)?

JOEL - Omnipresence means that God can be aware of everything by the spirit and see everything He wants to see no matter where His physical personage happens to be at the time. By His knowledge and power, and through the influence of the Holy Ghost, He is omnipresent.

"He that ascended up on high, as also he descended below all things, in that he comprehended all things, that he might be in all and through all things, the light of truth;" (D&C 88: 6)
"He is above all things, and in all things, and is through all things, and is round about all things; and all things are by him, and of him, even God, forever and ever." (D. & C. 88:41)

James E. Talmage said:
"There is no part of creation, however remote, into which God cannot penetrate; through the medium of the Spirit the Godhead is in direct communication with all things at all times. It has been said, therefore, that God is everywhere present; but this does not mean that the actual person of any one member of the Godhead can be physically present in more than one place at one time. The senses of each of the Trinity are of infinite power; His mind is of unlimited capacity; His powers of transferring Himself from place to place are infinite; (Articles of Faith 38-39)

"And he doth not dwell in unholy temples; neither can filthiness or anything which is unclean be received into the kingdom of God; therefore I say unto you the time shall come, yea, and it shall be at the last day, that he who is filthy shall remain in his filthiness." (Alma 7:21)

This does not say He is not "allowed" to dwell in an unholy temple. God can do anything He wants, but He chooses to not dwell in an unholy temple. It is up to us to make sure that our bodies, minds, spirits, and places of worship are kept holy so that His spirit will be with us.
